1. PayPal Flexible Payment

You can choose any available payment method presented in your wallet. Select Change at checkout to pay with a different method.
A PayPal Balance account is required to get the PayPal Debit Card. Once your account is set up, you can select your PayPal Debit Card at checkout to pay with your PayPal Balance account.
With PayPal, you can add one or more payment methods such as your Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express card or bank account. You can also use your balance if you have a PayPal Balance account.
You can add or link your PayPal account with Google Pay and use it in the following ways:
- Make in-store purchases anywhere that accepts Google Pay and Mastercard Contactless Payments.
- When checking out online at the Google Store or other Google properties.
In addition, PayPal customers can continue to checkout online using Google Pay or with Chrome by adding a PayPal branded debit or credit card to Google Pay.
Before making an in-store purchase using your PayPal account linked with Google Pay, make sure you have sufficient funds in your PayPal Balance account. There are several ways to add funds to your PayPal Balance account:
- From your bank or debit card
- At a store, with cash
- With Direct Deposit
- Cash a Check
1.2 Google Pay
By selecting Google Pay in your Android app or web checkout, you can pay using any cards or PayPal accounts associated with your Google account.
Google Pay customers can choose their PayPal account at checkout if you have enabled both PayPal and Google Pay in the Control Panel.
These transactions will be processed and identified as PayPal transactions.
Google Pay is available for all customers worldwide to make purchases using cards or PayPal accounts saved to your Google accounts.
1.3 PayPal Pay Later Offers
PayPal offers short-term, interest-free payments, longer-term, monthly installments, and other special financing options that buyers can use to buy now and pay later, while merchants get paid up-front. Pay Later offers are included with PayPal Checkout at no additional cost to you unless you are in the US.

4. Afterpay / Clearpay
Afterpay (Clearpay in the UK) is a buy now, pay later (BNPL) payment method provider servicing shoppers in AU, UK, CA, US, and NZ. Afterpay allows shoppers to register their Visa or Mastercard-issued credit and debit cards, bank accounts, or digital payments (such as Apple Pay and Google Pay) and complete purchases with Pay in 4 or Monthly Installments. As of 2023, Afterpay is the most popular BNPL method in AU and NZ, and the second most popular in the US by user counts
5. Google Pay
Google Pay is a digital wallet technology that enables shoppers to make seamless payments using any credit or debit card saved to their Google Account on compatible devices at a physical store, in-app, or on the web. Shoppers can power through the checkout process using facial or fingerprint recognition to authenticate transactions, which is PSD2 SCA compliant (specific to EEA). Google Pay also enables shoppers to retrieve cards stored on their linked accounts, including those from Google Play, YouTube, Chrome, or an Android device. For such transactions, depending on the card type, the shopper might be required to authenticate, for example, using 3DS. There is no additional cost associated with the usage of Google Pay as a payment method, and it also provides liability shift.
6. Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a digital wallet technology that enables shoppers to make seamless payments using compatible devices at a physical store, in-app or on the web. Shoppers can power through the checkout process using just a Touch ID or Face ID to authenticate the transaction, which is PSD2 SCA compliant (specific to EEA). There is no additional cost to offer Apple Pay as a payment method and it also provides liability shift.
Payment failed? Try these solutions:
- Contact your bank: Confirm that your bank card has sufficient balance.
- Verify information: Check if the card number, expiration date, CVV code and billing address are correct.
- Switch payment method: Change to another bank card or try to pay with PayPal balance.
- Contact customer service: Provide the order number and error screenshot, and we will do our best to troubleshoot the problem for you.
